through your state agency. When contributing through your employer, you
may designate a part or all of your donation to go to specific approved
charitable organizations. THE AMHERST HOCKEY ASSOCIATION'S AGENCY NUMBER
IS: 685604. You simply designate the AHA number on your employer's
form and the amount of you contribution. Your employer will send you a
receipt for your tax return deduction. You may also go to the COMECC
website and make a one time contribution by entering the agency number. Thanks
in advance for your support.

| About the Amherst Hockey Association |
| |
| The Amherst Hockey Association provides a
supervised, recreational and competitive hockey program for youths from 4 to 17
years old who live in the Amherst, Massachusetts area. The AHA is member
organization of Massachusetts Hockey District 6 and USA Hockey. The AHA is a
non-profit organization that relies on parent and community volunteers for
coaching and managing our programs. The AHA runs programs for all levels of
youth skill and competition. Our programs are conducted primarily at Orr Rink
at Amherst College and at the Mullins Center practice facility on the campus of
the University of Massachusetts, as well as at other area rinks. Each year
approximately 250 skaters take part in AHA programs. The Initiation Program
develops skating and hockey skills in younger children. The Advanced Initiation
Program allows skaters to play in a less formal and competitive environment
while learning to play team hockey. AHA Travel Teams compete in the Greater
Springfield Junior Hockey League (GSL). Teams also play independent games that
are scheduled throughout Massachusetts, North Central Connecticut, Vermont,
western New Hampshire, and northeast New York. Our annual exchange program with
Montreal West further expands the cultural and competitive spectrum of the
program. Each team typically plays 50 games and has more than 90 hours of ice
time during the September through April season.
