AHA Financial Assistance Program

Thanks to AHA's fundraising efforts and some generous donors, there are funds available to support players with financial need. The amount of aid each year varies but AHA is committed to trying to use these funds to make hockey affordable for our families. If you are interested, please read our AHA Financial Assistance Policy.

All families requesting Financial Assistance must complete the Financial Aid Application and submit it to the AHA Treasurer. All information will be reviewed by the Finance Committee (a subset of the AHA Board of Directors, including the Treasurer and President) and kept confidential. All awards are based on financial need, and awarded regardless of race, color, sex, religion and national origin. Forms must be received by September 30th. In extenuating circumstancees, applications will be considered throughout the season.

This award was established by Carla Williams Rossiter in memory of her brother, Green. B. Williams. Green died in an Air Force pilot training mid-air collision in 1984. He played hockey for AHA, Amherst Regional High School (1970-73) and Rochester Institute of Technology (1973-77).

Eligibility: travel players registered with the Amherst Hockey Association from 8U through 14U who are not participating in any other hockey or skating programs and who are attending a school in the Amherst Regional, Belchertown or Hadley public school systems.
